Camping Jungfrau

Longitude: 46.58843
Latitude: 7.90867

Beautiful campsite in the valley of many waterfalls. Plenty of space for all sizes of MH.

New ablution block with "family" bathrooms, bootroom, laundry and drying areas.

Good on site shop, restaurant and bar. Also has B&B rooms and dorm with cooking facilities and communal dining area. CHF 35 B&B when we visited Mar 2010.

Childrens play area, tennis courts and mini-golf in the summer. Free "Poste" bus to the station for the mountain railway to Wengen or cable-car to Murren.

Lauterbrunnen is in the valley below Wengen and Murren. The world famous mountain railways take you up to the snow within 30 mins and are included on the ski pass. It is a small town with all the shops you need. Links by rail from Interlarken (30 Mins)

Murren - For the steeps and deeps especially off the PIZ GLORIA rotating restaurant (think James Bond in OHMSS). Fantastic run off the Shilthorn. Good for intermediate skiers. Reached by Cable Car from the valley.

Wengen - Again good for inters, but limited for advanced skiers. Even the renowned Lauberhorn World Cup run is an average Black when skied on holiday. Some off-piste to be found with new snow. Too many Brits who can't ski though!

Grindlewald - Don't bother unless you are looking for Chocolate Box Switzerland. Skiing very easy, even the warning "Double Diamond" Black should be within the capability of all but the most timid. There is one unpisted run from the top worth a go, but not a trip across just to do it.

If you go to Grindlewald from Lauterbrunnen, take the train towards Interlarken and change at the first stop. Included in the lift pass and saves you about an hour of transit time.
